1.   Study on Shem !!

The following Genealogical Timeline Chart*, from Adam to Moshe (Moses), is compiled from the King James Version [ the most recognized version]. I also utilized information contained within the TORAH () ~ by Aryeh Kaplan; a carefully written copy w/ typed translation, including Charts, Maps and Diagrams.

* Genealogical Timeline Chart :

(*Notice that Shem lived for Thiry Five more years after the Death of Abraham.)

Now for the discourse on Shem, from several sources on Hebrew Antiquity.

 First read Psalm 111:10; Daniel 12:3, 10; 1 John 5:20.

Regarding the son of NoaCH -  (Noah); SHeM -   , younger brother of YePHeTH -  (Gen 10:21).

In Genesis 9:26-27, it speaks of YaHuWaH being the 'Eloah of SHeM, and that YePHeTH will dwell in the tents of SHeM.

There is much information found in the Targum of Yonathan; including Nedarim, Rashi and several other sources dealing with Hebrew Antiquity.

This is of great importance, as Shem and his wife (Gen 7:7) became the direct progenitors of the Semitic Race [Shemites] (Gen 11:10-31).

Let's back up just a little. The Shemites after the flood, went out from the Ararat Mts., a place called Minni (Ar-Menia) or what is now modern day Turkey. In fact the people of that region are still called Armenians.

The name Ararat means "Firm Earth"; the name Minni means "Rest".

Combining the two makes the name Armenia, meaning "Rest upon Firm Earth". That is exactly what the Ark did when the waters abated after the flood (Gen 8:3-4; Jer 51:27).

The children of Shem migrated from Ararat and Minni, to places such as Laish, Carchemish, Haran and Ur of the Chaldees.. This all ties together, as Abram (Abraham) was the son of Terach (Terah), who was the great, great grandson of Eber (Father of the Eberim [Hebrews]). Haran, the brother of Abram, founded the city of Haran; and was the father of Abrams nephew Lot.

This should all be shedding some light by now (1 Sam 6:14, 18b; Luke 3:34-36)

Shem himself migrated to the land of Moriyah (Moriah), meaning "Seen of Yah". There, Shem founded a city, and named it "TSeDeQ" meaning "Righteousness". Shem was a teacher and a priest, and taught the Truth about the Epoch of the Flood, and related stories of "The Creation". He was able to do this because, he heard it first hand from Methushelah, who, heard first hand from Adam. Therefore Shem was able to tell the account directly to Abram.

In any case, as Gen 9:26 states; YaHuWaH was the 'Eloah of SHeM, and that SHeM was specifically blessed by his father Noach.

SHeM became a Priest of the Most High 'El. So after traveling to the land of Moriyah and then founding the city of TSeDeQ, SHeM was named King and became the first King-Priest.

We know that through the course of time, the city that was founded by SHeM, became known as SHaLeM. Then much later became a possession of the Yebusites (Jebusites) and its name was changed to Yebus (Jebus), then it was subsequently changed to Yerushalayim (Jeru-salem).

So, Jerusalem was "Originally" founded by SHeM and named TSeDeQ, changed to SHaLeM, then to Yebus, and then to Yerushalayim.

Therefore, it was YaHuWaH 'Elohim that had pre-ordained the city of Yerushalayim, to be the base of His Kingdom, Throne and place of worship at the Temple. Which 'Eloah will again restore (Isaiah 2:1-3).

Now, pay close attention...

Since SHeM was the very first King of the city he founded, called "Righteousness"; then he was the King of Righteousness; the earliest pre-type of the Messiah. And since SHeM was also a priest of the Most High 'El; we see a most important revelation which connection is supported in Scripture. Those Scriptures will be placed appropriately within.

Let us now go over some basic points as it was outlined before. As explained in the Targum of Yerushalayim, Yonathan ben Uzziel, and others; this is a view that has wide acceptance among the Hebrew Yahuwdiym of Yisra'el, and others.

One thing to observe is that the Children of Yisra'el / YaHuWDaH (Israel/Judah) were meticulous record keepers.

The word Targum itself comes from two root words :

Ta'aR (  )  meaning - a surety, to expose, to discover; and

RaGaM (  )  meaning - to compile, or to put together.

These are combined to form the word TaRGum (  ) meaning - to translate, interpret, to transfer, to make known.

The view regarding SHeM, is that he is (was) this :

       (1) SHeM was a Priest of the Most High 'El.

       (2) SHeM was the founder of a city in the land of Moriyah (Moriah), and he named the city "Righteousness".

       (3) SHeM was of-course named "King" of this city.

OK ! By inspiration and the foundation of the Scriptures...

SHEM was the "KING" of "RIGHTEOUSNESS".

Now we need some greater clarification and contrast regarding this city located in the land of Moriyah, that was chosen and ordained of YaHuWaH to be both the Physical and Eternal Capitol of His Chosen People (the Shemites/ Hebrew/ Children of Yisra'el, and those who are grafted in [Romans 11:17-24] - Spiritual Yisra'el). Revelation 21

Here is some more history from antiquity. I also encourage you to research this. But I will supply a sequence of events that can be easily checked and/or looked into.

This information tells us that during the time of Abram, SHeM was the "King" of TSeDeQ. In fact SHeM was the King of TSeDeQ until 35 years after the death of Abraham. Also of note is that SHeM lived for a total of 600 years. He was the last of the Pre-deluvian patriarchs (Noach, Yepheth, Shem, Ham). And SHeM lived much longer than his brothers. For a total of 500 years after the Flood.

Besides SHeM, there was much later in history, another ruler by the title of ADoNiY-TSeDeQ (Adoni-zedek) mentioned within the Scriptures, who happened to usurp/ or be in control of TSeDeQ (aka. Salem, Yebus, Yerushalayim), at the time of Yisra'el's return from Mitzraim (Egypt).

Let us look at this particular time in World History.

When the Children of Yisra'el returned to the Land of their Fathers. They were met by this Adoni-zedek, and the combined armies of Hoham, Piram, Yaphia, Debir. Known as the Five Kings of the Amorites; Who conspired with Adoni-zedek against Yahushu'a (Joshua) in the Battle of Gibeon. (YaHuWSHu'A (Joshua) 10:1-11)

This is another Pre-type of the future battle between the Kings and armies of the world, at the return of YaHuWSHu'A with his chosen/elect. (Rev 19:11-21)

Other supporting Scriptures:

But let us get back to this important person named SHeM, who was known as the "King" of "Righeousness".

The Hebrew word for "Righteousness" is TSeDeQ , and the Hebrew word for King is MaLKiY. In the Hebrew script it looks like  , and is pronounced Malkiy-Tsedeq (Malkizedek [Gen 14:18]).

OK, let us summarize.

We find that this Malkiy-Tsedeq was Noach's son Shem. Shem was very much alive during the life of Abram/Abraham (see the chart above). In fact Shem outlived Abraham's wife Sarah.

The fact also remains, that "Malkizedek's" nationality, geneology, and offspring are intentionally left undisclosed within the Book of Hebrews (Heb 7:1-3). And with very good reason.

It is by 'Eloah's will and divine purpose, so that the Father could typify his son YaHuWSHu'A the Messiah, who also by YaHuWaH's sworn oath concerning YaHuWSHu'A; "Has become a High Priest after the Order of...

                 "MALKIZEDEK" !!

Here are the other Scriptures related to what I mentioned and made reference to earlier :

Genesis 14:18-20

Matthew 26:26-29 ;

And also;

Psalm 76:2

Psalm 110:1-4

Romans 4:1-3

Hebrews 5:1-10 (11-14)

Hebrews 7:12-21

2. The Judgement of the Righteous !?

A lot of people are wrongfully taught by their "Clergy", and therefore seem to think that "Once saved, Always saved".

What the "Clergy" Omits (forgets or refuses to teach), are the Warnings as stated and set forth by Shaddai 'El YaHuWaH.

That same wicked "Clergy" also states that we do not have to worry about keeping the "Commandments"{aka. "The Law", or Marriage Covenant) of YaHuWaH. And that anyone trying to follow the Commandments of 'Elohim are being Legalistic, by trying to follow the Torah/Law.

Well then, the opposite of that way of thinking is of-course to be Illegalistic and a Lawbreaker. (Matt 7:20-23 ~ CJB)

My Short answer therefore, is that if one does not try keep the "10 Commandments" of 'Elohim; then they wilfully Violate a whole set of Scriptures* that encourages the true believer to keep.

I am not talking about the ceremonial law (that was nailed to the Stauros of Messiah), I am talking about the "Moral Law" (EX 20:1-17).

*Here is a short list for you to read for yourself :

Eccl 12:13

1 Cor 7:19

1 Yohanan (John) 5:2-3

Revelation 12:17

Revelation 14:12

So let us get on with the Question...

"Are the Righteous going to be Judged ?"

First, Acknowledgment must be made to the Gift of the Ruach haQodesh (the Set-Apart Spirit) that was given by Our Heavenly Father /  / YaHuWaH :

"But the Helper, the Set-Apart Spirit, whom the Father shall send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and remind you of all that I have said to you." (Yohanan (John) 14:26 ~ Messianic Scriptures [NT]

For those who are more familiar with the King James Version, I will therefore use from hereon, the [KJV] within this Study; yet I will utilize the proper term/title 'Elohim, 'Eloah or 'El where it is appropriate. But for specific understandings found within the TaNaK and Brit Chadash, I shall utilize verse from the ISR Restored Name Version [ISR].

Now, we will look at what the Messiah spoke to his disciples, and us, through the Scriptures. But first we must continue to build upon the foundation of Scripture, for this Study.

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he will not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak." (Yohanan 16:13 ~ KJV)

Therefore, also, as I am instructed, I teach.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of 'Elohim, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of 'Eloah may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Tim 3:16-17 ~ KJV)

"And these things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." (2 Tim 2:2 ~ KJV)

"Study to show thyself approved unto 'Elohim, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Tim 2:15 ~ KJV)

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of 'Elohim, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, not wavering..." ( James 1:5-6...)

"Sanctify them through thy truth, thy word is truth." (John 17:17)

Now, since we know that the word of 'Elohim is truth, and that He cannot lie, and that neither can His Only Begotten Son  /  / YaHuWSHu'A ; then let us take a close look at "One Particular Scripture".

"For as the Father hath life in Himself; so hath He given to the Son to have life in himself; and hath given him authority to execute judgement also, because he is the son of man (...'son of Adam, which was the son of God:[Luke 3:38]). Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." (John 5:26-30 ~ KJV)[emphasis mine]

Pretty Strong words ! So let's take a closer look at what the will of the Father is :

"My defense is of 'Elohim, which saveth the upright in heart. 'Eloah judgeth the righteous, and 'Elohim is angry with the wicked every day." (Psalm 7:10-11 ~ KJV)

"I said in mine heart, 'Elohim shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work." (Eccl 3:17 ~ KJV)

Take a look at Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 3:18-21. Here we see what YaHuWaH feels, concerning anyone who sins, even the righteous (v:20).

Even Sha'ul was concerned for maintaining a proper Spiritual relationship with YaHuWaH, abstaining from the willful intent of sin (1 Cor 9:27; Hebrews 10:26-27).

"For 'Elohim will bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." (Eccl 12:14 ~ KJV)

I do not need to underline anything yet, do I ?

Now for some verse from the ISR Restored name Version.

"And therefore  shall wait, to show you favor. And therefore He shall be exalted, to have compassion on you. For  is an 'Elohim of right ruling. Blessed are those who wait for Him." (YeshaYahu [Isaiah] 30:18 ~ ISR)

"And you have said,'The way of  is not fair.'O house of Yisra'el*, I shall judge every one of you according to his own ways." (Yehezqel [Ezekiel] 33:20 ~ ISR) *This includes 'Spiritual Yisra'el' also, or did you seem to think that You are exempt ? No One is Exempt !!

Let's take a real close look at what the Apostle Sha'ul [Paul] was instructed to teach and preach, by  the Messiah. {Col 1:28-29> read this one for yourself.

The next two Scriptures will be from the Hebrew Brit Chadash. A Very Great Translation.

" 'Elohim, who 'shall render to each one according to his works' : everlasting life to those who by persistance in good works seek for esteem, and respect, and incorruptability; but wrath and displeasure to those who are self seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness. Affliction and distress to every human being  working what is evil, of the Yahuwdite first and also the Greek; but esteem, respect, and peace to everyone working what is good, to the Yahuwdite first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with 'Elohim. For as many as sinned without Torah shall also perish without Torah, and as many as sinned in the Torah shall be judged by the Torah. For not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of 'Elohim, but the doers of the Torah shall be declared right." (Romans 2:6-13 ~ ISR)

Now you say, 'But no one is perfect and no one can fulfill the righteous requirments of the Law'. That is correct because,"All have sinned and come short of the Glory of 'Elohim." (Romans 3:23 ~ KJV)

Now you ask, 'are we not then saved through faith'? Well... yes we are; "But do you wish to know, O foolish man, that belief without works is dead." (Ya'aqob [James] 2:20 ~ ISR)

"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." (James 2:26 ~ KJV)

But now let us reason together, further; in the understanding that was given to Sha'ul, that was given to us.

"But why dost thou judge thy brother ?, or why do you despise your brother ? For we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Messiah. For it has been written*, 'As I live, says , every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to 'Elohim.' Each one of us, therefore, shall give account of himself to 'Elohim." (Romans 14:10-12 ~ ISR {*YeshaYahu [Isaiah 45:23 ~ ISR])

Again, Sha'ul said to the Corinthians; "For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ; that every one may recieve the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." (2 Cor 5:10 ~ KJV)

"And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after that the judgement." (Heb 9:27 ~ KJV)

"And again,  shall judge His people." (Ibrim [Hebrews] 10:30 ~ ISR)

Who else has spoken to us, according to the word of 'Elohim, by the inspiration of the Qodesh Ruach (Set-Apart Spirit), and the remembrance of what has been written in the Scriptures, and also that which was spoken by our Savior - The Only Brought Forth Son  /  / YaHuWSHu'A ?

Who else has given unto us, for instruction, and for knowledge in righteousness ??

I guess it is time for some Underline !!

'Kepha' (Peter)

"And if you call on the Father, who without respect of persons, judgeth according to every mans work,..." (1 Pet 1:17 ~ KJV)

"For the time has come that judgement must begin at the house of 'Elohim: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of 'Elohim ?" (1 Pet 4:17 ~ KJV)

'Yohanan' (John)

"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is, so are we in the world." (1 John 4:17 ~ KJV)

'Yehudah' (Jude)

"And Hanok, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied of these, saying, 'See,  comes with his myriads of set-apart ones, to execute judgement on all, and to punish all who are wicked among them..." (Yehudah [Jude] 1:14-15 ~ ISR)

And just as  the Messiah spoke unto his disciples, so say I also unto you; "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now." (John 16:12 ~ KJV)

And now I have fulfilled much of that which has been set before me, according to the charge that has been given me.

"Son of man, I have appointed you a Watchman unto the house of Yisra'el*: (Yehezqel [Ezekiel] 3:17 ~ ISR)

*This of-course includes Spiritual Yisra'el [Israel], (2 Tim 4:1-2)

And now, to close this page:

"But brothers, we beg you to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Master, and admonish you; and to hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves." (1 Thess 5:12-13 ~ ISR)

"Obey those leading you, and be subject to them, for they watch for your lives, as having to give account. Let them do so with joy and not groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you." (Ibrim [Hebrews] 13:17 ~ ISR)

3. The Day Begins and Ends !

First, as is my practice, Prayer is always made for all Disciple Students who study these pages. I further ask that You, the Disciple/Student continue in Faith and personal prayer (nothing wavering) according to the following Scriptures:

Proverbs 2:1-8  and  James 1:5

My hope is to you, that you may be in patience, receiving this knowledge with an Open Heart, and all readiness of mind. Furthermore, although I endeaver to bring the Knowledge that is contained within the Brit Chadeshah, known as the New Covenant Messianic Scriptures (Matt-Rev); I continue to ask you to refer to one of the following Scripture Translations { ISR (restored Name version), AKJV or the KJV, regarding the Scripture Verses mentioned herein.

Also, please keep in mind, that where the term "God" is found within the AKJV or KJV; the proper Hebrew Title: 'Elohim , should be practiced. You should also use His True Name  - YaHuWaH (not LORD), where it is proper within Scripture.

   Let's begin:

We must always remember that YaHuWaH's ways are not man's ways. So we look to those things in which 'Eloah has ordained from th foundation of the earth; and has made known through His word to those who diligently seek to walk According to His Precepts !

(Acts 5:29; Gal 1:10; 1 Thess 2:4-5)

Let's now look at that which YaHuWaH spoke In The Beginning.

(Genesis 1:5, 8, 13, 19, 23, 31 ; and Genesis 2:2-3)

'Eloah set the pattern of the day, and the term that is commonly found is:  - 'EReB; meaning, of equal or identical parts. Hence, the Evening and the Morning were of equal amounts; EVEN.

This is how 'Elohim began everything. And in His word to the children of Yisra'el, when He delivered them from Mitzrayim (Egypt) and the bondage of Sin, Idolatry, Pagan Worship and Heathen Customs; He told them, at the Spring Eqinox [the time of the Passover]: "This month shall be unto you the beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you." (Ex 12:1-11)

It is good to note that  (YaHuWaH) chose the month of Abib [which runs approx. from the middle of March to the middle of April], in order to bring His children back into line with His time schedule, and His calendar, according to His plan of Salvation. And it is according to His Time Frame that we gain a deeper understanding and respect for His Set-Apart (Holy) Days.

These High Sabbaths (not to be confused with the weekly sabbaths) fall during the Vernal (Spring) Equinox [Passover, Unleavened Bread, Wavesheaf*] and the Autumnal (Fall) Equinox [Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles, Last Great Day**]; for a Total of SEVEN High and Set-Apart (Holy) Days, with their accompanying feasts.

The *First Three during the Spring Equinox where the days are of two equal 12 hour periods (twelve hr.days - twelve hr. nights) beginning in the first month of the year, Abib. And the **Last Four during the Fall Equinox (also when the days and nights are of two equal 12 hr. periods) in the Seventh Month, Tishri.

Please remember also that the month of Abib is approximately form mid-March to mid-April, and Tishri is approximately mid-September to mid-October.

Now let's look at further Scripture that supports 'Elohim's assertion for us to abide by His Set Times. But first let me ask you a Question !

If a very important Official said, "Meet me at this future date at this certain time". And then the days and weeks and years passed.

Then other people came along and led you to believe that that time was now possibly Six hours later. So you altered your schedule to fit your assumption that the Official was now going to meet you according to your "new time frame".

Then He showed up at His appointed time, according to His clock and His calendar, but you were not there.

But because you were not there at the correct time and most likely on the wrong day, He left and you missed out on the meeting.

Would you be upset because He kept His word, or because He did not come according to the altered time when you had expected Him?

Now we will learn why He places such importance upon this word  - 'EReB ("Even"[ing]), as we read the following Scriptures.

From the TaNaK (Old Covenant):

Gen 19:1

Ex 12:18

Ex 16:6, 13

Ex 18:14

Ex 29:39

Ex 30:8

Lev 11:24, 25, 31, 32, 40

Lev 14:16

Lev 15:11, 16-18, 19

Lev 22:6

Lev 23:5, 32

Num 9:3, 5, 11, 21

Num 28:4, 8

Deut 16:4, 6

Deut 28:67

Judges 19:16

Judges 20:23, 26

Judges 21:2

Ruth 2:17

1 Sam 20:5

2 Sam 1;12

1 Kings 22:35

1 Chron 23:30

2 Chron 18:34

Ezek 12:4, 7

Ezek 24:18

Let's now look at the Greek translation of the Brit Chadesh.

   The Greek term:

       - opsios , comes from the root term  - opse : meaning the 12th hour of the day, Eventide or Even; it is understood to be the late afternoon / early evening, corresponding to our 6pm.

   Supporting Scriptures are:

Matt 8:16

Matt 26:19-20

Matt 27:57

Mark 4:35

Mark 6:47

Mark 11:19

Mark 15:42

Now, where the Hebrew word 'Ereb, or the Greek term Opsios, is rendered as "Even". It is in the  thought or understanding as to the evening of two halves.

Consider the following phrase:

He is evening them up so that they are of two equal halves.

       12 Hour Day --- 12 Hour Night = 24 Hours

So, now we will read how this thought and understanding is utilized within the Scriptures. Please read again Gen 1:5, 8, 13, 19, 23, 31; and I will give you a full illustration shortly.

Further Scriptures are as follows:

Gen 8:11

Gen 24:11 and

Gen 30:16-21 (this culminates in some very interesting Blessings);

...Nevertheless, lets go on...

Exodus 12:6

Exodus 16:8

Exodus 18:13-14 (this is an excellent example of the same word   - 'EreB, being translated as both Even and Evening within the King James Version, where the evening of the day was when the previous 12 hour period ended and met where the next 12 hour period began. Making it the "EVEN" point of two Equal amounts of time, forming the middle of the 24 hour cycle).

(This will also be made plain in the upcoming illustration).

But first I would like to give you more Scriptures to read, so that you may gain an even deeper understanding regarding this subject.

Here they are.

Lev 24:3

Deut 23:11

Josh 10:26

1 Sam 17:16

1 Kings 17:6   {did you hear the evening and the morning references, like in Gen 1 ?)

1 Kings 18:36

1 Ch 16:40

2 Ch 2:4

2 Ch 13:11

2 Ch 31:3

Ezra 9:4-5

Job 4:20-21

Ps 55:17   {this will also be pointed out in the upcoming Illustration)

Ps 65:8

Ps 141:2

Eccl 11:6

Ezek 33:33

Dan 8:26

Dan 9:21

Zeph 2:7

   And from the Brit Chadash:

Matt 14:15

Mk 14:16-17

And also Luke 24:29-53   (This set of verses show in Verse 29 the reference to the evening meal, and the Day being far spent, as they reckoned the day until 6pm of the evening of which they were speaking; because it was customary to partake of the evening oblation and meal and have fellowship as they sat down at meat (Verse 30), and after fellowshipping with them for a short time, YaHuWSHu'A vanished out of their sight; and there was still plenty of sunlight left for them to meet with the eleven "the same hour" (Verse 33), and then YaHuWSHu'A appeared in their midst (Verse 36), and after He (YaHuWSHu'A) arrived, they all fellowshipped some more and had a snack (Verse 41-43); after that, He walked with them all the way to Bethany (Verse 50), which is about 2 miles to the East of Yerushalayim, on the other side of Mount Olivet [which is about a 35 minute walk one way], and then they returned to Yerushalayim (Verse 52) which places their timing to approximately around 7:15 to 7:30pm, the sun not having yet set !!!

At this point I need ask you to read this statement made by Our Savior YaHuWSHu'A:

Yohanan (John) 11:9

"YaHuWSHu'A answered, 'Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.'"

Here the Messiah states clearly that there is only twelve hours in the day. He is the Son of YaHuWaH haShaddai 'El, so I do believe that he knew the truth of the hours as set forth and ordained by his Father!!!

Now let us look at the illustration [below] that I spoke of earlier:

From EVEN to EVEN (Lev 23:32), and remember to consider the description of the very first day {Gen 1:5) "And the evening and the morning were the first day."

Note: The references to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Watch. This will be touched upon more in just a bit.

Refresh your memory with these Scriptures:

Genesis 1:5, 8, 13, 19, 23, 31

And strengthen your understanding with these:

Exodus 18:13-14; Psalm 55:17

There are some other places within the Scriptures where this specific style of phrasing is also employed, along with the thought and intent of which this observance and service involves.

1 Kings 18:36

Ezra 9:5

Dan 6:10, 13

Dan 9:21

Dan 10:12

I must ask you to remember and consider this admonition and encouragement at Galatians 6:7-9.

Now, read at Mark 13:35; as this is a very Great verse and worthy of Deeper Understanding, especially in regards to the reference of "Even", or midnight, etc.; and how they relate to Global Time Zones.

Nevertheless, concerning The Watch: Luke 12:35-40

Now I offer these select verses, in sequence, as we take opportunity with a view of that which is yet ahead, of things to come:

Matt 24:42

Luke 21:36

Rev 3:3

(Yohanan 16:12-14 [Yohanan 4:23-24])

If you remember, in another Study I showed that it was Pope Gregory Xlll who [among other things]"Changed" the times (Daniel 7:25) from 6pm, to 12:00am(Midnight); and that everyone has been led to believe that the day starts at Midnight. They even start their New Year at Midnight, January 1st.(another pagan holiday thing).

Now with all this in mind, remember that YaHuWaH chose the foolish things of the world in order to confound the Wise.

   1 Corinthians 1:25-27

Therefore, those who are Wise in their own conceits, will not accept the following simple and obvious statement. Mainly because it is contrary to what they have been taught as standard precepts by so-called "Scholars" (and other Pagan Sun Worshippers) !!

   Now, during mid-summer;

If the sun sets at 9:30pm and rises at 5:30am, then that is only 8 hours of darkness.

And from 5:30am till 9:30pm allows 16 hours of light.

What is "Even" about that ?   Nothing !

And what is the hour differential in the middle of Winter ??

That's right; More darkness and much less daylight.

            Nothing "Even" about that either.

Let's consider again these words of YaHuWaH 'Elohim :

   Proverbs 9:9-10

"Give instruction to a wise man, and he will become yet wiser; teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. The reverence of YaHuWaH is the beginning of Wisdom: and the knowledge of things Set-Apart is understanding."

I was invited to a "Bible Study" many years ago. And at the study there was dicsussion about the Scriptural Sabbath and the time when it was supposed to begin. The "Pastor" who led the bible study, insisted that the days begin and end at Sundown (no matter what time of the year it may be). He used these two scriptures, one found in Joshua and the other in Nehemiah, as his support.

I mentioned that it was an entirely improper application of the texts, and attempted to correct his error. As there was No Particular "TIME" implied in regards to the beginning or ending of the day.

The first was Yahuwshu'a (Joshua) 8:29

"Hanged upon a tree until late: and as soon as the sun was down, Yahuwshu'a..."

The Hebrew term used is - #6256, 'eTH = meaning: Late (in time) or [in the evening].

The second was NechemYaHuw (Nehemiah) 13:19

"When the gates of Yerushalayim began to be darkened, before the sabbath,..."

The Hebrew term used here is - #6751, TsaLaL = meaning: shaded or to become darkened.

(( 2 Tim 2:15 ))

Again, there is absolutely no particular Time implied, in regards to the ending of the day, in either of these passages. Nor is there any reference as to what month of the year these situations may have taken place.

Needless to say, he ridiculed my knowledge and chose to stay in his inaccuracies.

(Luke 16:10)

What was terribly unfortunate is that within a year he lost all of his church congregation; and very soon after that, he was diagnosed with cancer (a suprise), and died.

Hosea 4:6
