I am going to do a Special Study on a very important Topic regarding the Holiday, known to, and celebrated by, both Pagan/Secular society, and by both the Roman Catholic Church and Protestant "Christian" community.
This Holiday that they call :
Christmas and/or X-mas !!

Let's find out exactly where it Originated !
I am talking about the very first instance that there was the celebration of this specific "Season" , and the reason for its observance throughout history!
This will include its ancient origins, and then its adoption and inclusion into the Roman Catholic Church and eventually her Protestant Offspring.

But First I believe that we need to know the Holy Days (Holidays) that Our Heavenly Father ( YaHuWaH 'El Shaddai ) ordained, from the foundation of the world.
The following are now observed by the Messianic Natsariym (Spiritual Yisrael), not according the Old Covenant services/rituals, but in the New Covenant Standards as set forth by Our Savior, YaHuWSHu'A (Yohanan 1:29 ; Revelation 13:8)[ 2 Chron 8:13 ].
(Remember the verse that states "Shadows of things to come")
Our Savior initally fulfilled the following in his first coming.*
Holy Day(s) #1 ~~~ The Passover Feast ~~~
(this Feast incorporates Passover and Unleavened Bread)

v:24 "Speak unto the children of Yisrael, saying, in the Seventh Month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of Trumpets, an Holy Convocation."
v:27-28 "Also on the tenth day of this Seventh Month there shall be a Day of Atonement: it shall be an Holy Convocation unto you... : for it is a Day of Atonement, to make an Atonement for you before YaHuWaH your 'Elohim."
v:34 "Speak unto the children of Yisrael, saying, The fifteenth day of this Seventh Month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles, for seven days onto YaHuWaH."
v:36 "Seven days shall ye offer an offering... unto YaHuWaH: on the eighth day shall be an Holy Convocation unto you;... it is a solemn Assembly;...
v:39 "... in the fifteenth day of the Seventh Month... ye shall keep a feast unto YaHuWaH Seven Days: on the first day shall be a Sabbath , and on the Eighth Day [ the Last Great Day ] shall be a Sabbath."

Let's take a real close look at this Seventh Month, as it relates directly to Our Saviors Birth ! This you shall see shortly, as I continue on this Study in the Word of Shaddai 'El YaHuWaH.

The answer to question # 1
September (from the Latin, septem; meaning Seven). The seventh month of the year in the old Roman (Julian) calendar. Changed into the ninth month, by Pope Gregory Xlll, in Feb. 24th 1582.
The answer to question # 2
December (from the Latin, decem; meaning Ten). The tenth month of the year in the old Roman (Julian) calendar. Also changed, into the twelfth month, by Pope Gregory Xlll, in Feb. 24th 1582.
Here is another bit of Historical Trivia. Septem (7), Octo (8), Novem (9), Decem (10); all changed by Pope Gregory Xlll (in the Gregorian Calendar), fulfilling this particular Scripture Prophecy from Daniel 7:25 "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws:"
In fact, Pope Gregory Xlll had revised the previous (365.25 day of the Julian calendar [devised in 45 BC. and lasting until Feb. 24th 1582 AD.] into the Gregorian 365.24 day year. The Julian calendar although being of solar divisions, was still based upon the combinations of the 12 month Lunar Cycles within the year, and beginning in the month of March (Hence the months of Sept. thru Dec being the 7th thru 10th months). Just as the Hebrew Calendar was of the Solar/Lunar calculation of months beginning on the sighting of the "New Moon", in the month of Nisan (approx. mid-March). The Julian calendar year was approx. 365.25 days. The Gregorian calendar year is approx. 365.24 days. For a difference of about 8 days in a 1,000 year time frame. The Lunar month is approx. 29.5 days, equal to a one year cycle of 12.37 lunar months or 354 days. Necessitating an extra 29 day month (Veadar) in leap years, somewhat similar to the 29 day month of February in the Gregorian calendar. This is all to help reconcile the combinations of both the Solar and Lunar year in order to assist in keeping correct, the times of planting and harvest, etc.
But since we are discussing the True Set-Apart (Holy Days) of the Almighty 'Elohim, YaHuWaH. Then please see the chart below, showing the standard Hebrew, Julian, and Gregorian calendars side by side.
Listed according to the first month of the year, as establised and ordained by YaHuWaH 'El Shaddai :

Now, you must keep in mind that the Feasts according to the Set-Apart times that were ordained by YaHuWaH 'Elohim; were meticulously kept in place even during the reign of Claudius Ceasar (Full name was >Tiberius Claudius Ceasar Augustus Germanicus<[ Luke 2:1 ]) from August 1st, 10 BC. [ 6/1/10 BC. ] till October 13th, 54 AD. [ 8/13/54 AD. ]
Those months remained in place and stayed the same until they were altered/changed, during the Reign of the Roman Catholic Pope* Gregory Xlll in the year 1582 AD.(*That's at least 1,585 years after the Birth of Our Savior {since there is no such thing as the year 0 ).
This information proves again that the Month of Our Saviors birth was in the beginning of the Hebrew Month of Tishri in 4BC., corresponding to the timespan between Mid Sept. till Mid Oct. of the Julian calendar (not the False Prophet Catholic Church's, and Her "Protestant Offsprings" adherence to the Gregorian calendar month of December*). This also means that it was during the first day of the Hebrew month of Tishri (during the sighting of the first faint sliver of light upon the "New Moon" {with Trumpets blasting), making the day of YaHuWSHuA's birth to have been on the evening of the first day of Tishri [the 7th month] correspondingly around the 25th of September [of the 7th month].
This connects properly with the Decree as set forth by Ceasar that [all of Judea] should be taxed. This was easily accomplished with the Hebrew population, as the children of Yisrael would all have gone to the areas around Yerushalayim for the Yearly celebration of the Feast of Trumpets, etc. ( Luke 2:1-7 )
*Remember that December means: the 10th month, and that the Catholic Church [along with secular society] has tweeked it into the 12th month; (further info on this Catholic tweeking [that the whole world follows after] coming soon).

But right now, back to the main study on the True Time of Our Saviors birth
There are many other Common Facts that hold that The Messiah was born on the Feast of Trumpets. as it would fulfill perfectly the "shadows of things to come", along with many types of Scripture Prophecies.

Here is one that you may get started on : Ezra 3:1 - 10
It not only speaks of "The Temple", but does also mention the name of a very important person listed as one of the "Priests".
I will tie this in with the New Covenant fulfillment of Our Savior.
OK ! Here we go with some of the various connections that are associated with the above Scripture in Ezra 3. The first and most important part of this is the passage that speaks of it being done on the First Day of the Month [3:6]. And that all of the children of Yisrael were gathered in their various cities directly around the vacinity of Yerushalyim [3:1]. Next is "The Foundation"; as our Savior said, that it was upon him "The Rock" that we are founded (Luke 6:47-48 ; 1 Cor 3:11). And we, being the assembly, and gathered together in him [Yohanan 17:21 ; Romans 12:5 ; Gal 3:28]; he is our "Temple" [Yohanan 2:19 ; Rev 21:22]... And last but definitely Not Least; the name of the central figure/person in Ezra 3:2, 9 ; "Then stood up Yeshu'a", this is the shortened or poetic form of the Name of Yahuwshu'a our Savior. Look at Strong's Hebrew dictionary/lexicon at #3442, listed as being for #3091. Yeshu'a meaning correctly as: Ye for Yah, and shu'a for will save. Yeshu'a would be translated as Yah will save, and by adding the central term of Huw meaning he ; then in its full form would be #3091 Yahuwshu'a.
Here is some Future fulfillment that we need to keep in mind, as it is also key to the Set-Apart (Holy) days of YaHuWaH known as the Feast of Trumpets , Feast of Tabernacles , etc. { 1 Cor 15:51-52; 1 Thess 4:16-17 ).
Now! We shall get right into the significance of the "True" Time of the Birth of YaHuWSHu'A
Please remember also the Verses found in Yohanan 4:22-24 (ISRV)...: "You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because the deliverance is of the Yahudim*. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him. 'Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth." [ also, Yohnan 17:17 ]
*Yahudim [Yahuwdiym]: worshipers of Yah.
I ask that you now read, very carefully, the entire scripture set forth in the book of LUKE 1:1 through to Luke 2:11 ; and to keep particular attention to these verses : Luke 1:5, 8, 23, 24, 26, 36, 38-39, 56-57, 68-69 ; Luke 2:4, 6, 8, 11.
I will be using the Translation from my copy of the Messianic Scriptures, ISRV [aka. The Restored Name Version]. You may follow along with me, using your own Translation; Authorized KJV, Gideon KJV, Standard KJV, or RSV, Preferably.
The following Study will blow a big hole in the Boat of "Mainstream Christianity"; because the information found in the Word of 'Elohim is intentionally not taught by the Most Popular Priests, Pastors, Ministers, Teachers, or even the Standard Christian Bible Study Groups. Even the more common local and rural (Catholic and Protestant) "Churches" do not teach these Scripture Truths! And the main reason for all of this information not being taught, is because if it was brought to light by these so-called "Churches", it would destroy their Biggest Moneymaker Month of the Year, next to the "Easter Thing". I mean, how much money is spent for "Christmas"?
This will be a Very In-depth Study of multiple Old Covenant Scriptures, as they relate Directly to the Book of Luke, Chapters 1 and 2.
Beginning with Luke 1 ; Verse 5 : "There was in the days of Herod, the sovereign of Yehudah, a certain priest named Zekaryah, of the division of Abiyah. And his wife was of the daughters of Aharon, and her name was Elisheba."
Luke 1:8 "And it came to be, that while he was serving as priest before 'Elohim in the order of his division."
Luke 1:23 "And it came to be, as soon as the days of his service were completed, he went away to his house."
Now, let us take a close look at this Division (or course) of Abiyah.
1 Dibre haYamim (Chronicles) 24:10 , 19
"the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abiyah... These were their offices in thier service for coming into the House of YaHuWaH according to their manner, by the hand of Aharon their father, as YaHuWaH 'Elohim of Yisra'el had commanded him."
Nehemiah 12:4, 17
"Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abiyah,... of Abiyah, Zichri; of Miniamin, of Moadiah, Piltai;..."
2 Chronicles 8:14
"And according to the ruling of Dawid his father, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service,..."
OK, so we now understand that the eighth course of Abiyah, was the time in which Zecharyah (Zechariah) served in the Temple in Yerushalayim. And that he served for two weeks, as was the custom of the order for the priests to serve in the House of YaHuWaH.
So, let us look now at the time of the year that Zecharyah would be serving as Priest, according to his Division.
This is very important information, so pay close attention to the Dates.

Ok ! Since it was during the 8th course that Zacharyah served in the Temple, then it was during the Month of Tammuz (or the middle of July) that he finished his course and returned to his House and to his Wife Elisheba. (Luke 1:23-25)
Luke 1:23 - 25
"And it came to be, that as soon as the days of his service were completed, he went away to his house. And after those days his wife Elisheba concieved. And she hid herself five months, saying, YaHuWaH has done this for me, in the days that He looked upon me, to take away my reproch among men."
Alrighty now, Elisheba hid herself for five months. And, Five months from the middle of July brings us to the middle of December.
Now comes the most important portion of this timeline, so now you have to pay even more attention to the information that is in the Scriptures of Almighty 'Elohim, YaHuWaH !
In the book of Luke 1:26 it now states :
"And in the sixth month the messenger Gabri'el was sent by 'Elohim to a city of Galil named Natsarith,"
And at Luke 1:36, it further states in confirmation :
"And see, Elisheba your relative, she has also concieved a son in her old age. and this is now the sixth month to her who was called barren."
In this, we can plainly see, that Mary concieved in her womb, the Messiah YaHuWSHu'A, in this "Sixth Month" of Elisheba's pregnancy, or most notably, in the end of the Month of Kislev (or mid December).
So, since it was approximately mid to late December that Miryam concieved in her womb, the Messiah; then what is "9 Months" later [a normal pregnancy] from that time ?
Let's look at it this way :

The Word of 'Elohim is quite plain on this issue. So, now we need to ask, "Why is it that the Catholic Church and her Protestant Offspring (all the various Denominations, Etc.) are so intent on, and continue to Preach on, the False Gospel of the December Christmas thing ?"
Here is a "Famous" quote from a so-called Catholic Christmas worship song. It was brought down to us, from about the 15th century (the time of the "Birth of the Jesuit Order of the Catholic church) and is reputed to be one of the oldest "Christmas" carols :
"God rest ye Merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay. Remember Christ our savior was born on "Christmas Day"...
NO HE WASN'T ! ! !
He was born on the Feast of Trumpets, According to YaHuWaH's Set-Apart (Holy Days), according to His Calendar ; and not according to the devised and borrowed holidays of the Catholic Church, and calendars of man (also of Catholic design) !
What is the next most logical question ?
Since the whole world celebrates "Christmas" in one form or another, what is wrong with us, celebrating it along with them ?
My instant answer to that is...
2 Corinthians 6:14-15
"Do not become unequally yoked with unbelievers: For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness ? And what fellowship hath light with darkness ? And what agreement does the Messiah have with Beliya'al ? And what part does a believer have with an unbeliever ?"
1 Yohanan (John) 1:6
"If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and are not doing the Truth."
And now for Ephesians 5:11
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of Darkness, but rather expose them."
And that is exactly what I am going to do in the next instalment of this Study on the "Catholic, Protestant Fellowship/Co-mingling with the Secular, Pagan Christmas/Xmas thing !

But first, I also leave you with this little bit of insight regarding the Feast of Trumpets.
Several well known Scripture Teachers and Theologians have suggested (I will combine their thoughts in one concensus); that since the next "Direct intervention in world affairs" by our Savior, will be "according to Gods divine plan of Redemtion". Would it be, that "perhaps His Second coming will occur", in whatever year it may be, "on this very Day of the Feast of Trumpets ?"
Let's look at this with clear reason and logic.
YaHuWSHu'A was sacrificed on Passover, The Very Day !
The Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) was sent and given, thereby beginning the selecting of the firstfruits of Salvation, on The Very Day of Pentecost.
Then it would be reasonable and logical, that Our Savior's return would be on, the Very Day of the Feast of Trumpets (The 7th Trump, on the 7th month)[also considered to be the Last Trump of the Ceremonial Year] !
So, if we are not keeping watch for this Scriptual Set-Apart Day, we may not be found ready. Remember that it is stated, that the Day of his return would be like a thief in the night. (1 Thess 5:1-11)
I want to emphisize the first verse: "But of the times and seasons, bretheren, ye have no need that I write unto you." That is very true, we "do know" of the time and of the season. What we do not know is the Exact Day or Hour, as that will only be known at the sighting of the "First Faint Sliver of Light, of the New Moon", when that "7th Trump" Shall Blast !!!
Of that day and hour, Our Savior himself stated in Mark 13:32 ; "But of that Day and Hour, no man knows, no, not even the Messengers that are in the Heavens, neither the Son, but the Father only."
Furthermore, YaHuWSHu'A emphasized the following to his disciple/students : "And what I say unto you, I say unto all, Watch."
If no one is keeping a proper Watch; then that day and hour will come upon them ,"Like a thief in the Night !"
