This question was asked of several pastors, preachers, priests and other so called teachers.         "What is God's name?"  Invariably the answer came back, "The LORD" !             [ EHHH...  Wrong ! ] 

I was even quoted these two scriptures ( Jer 16:21 and Amos 5:8 ) by a few of those false prophets.

I immediately had to ask them, "Then what is the LORD'S name?" They insisted on further inaccuracies or didn't have time for further discussion.

The word/term/title "LORD" is etymologically traced to its word/ term origin, Ba'aL; as in Ba'aL-Zebub ( LORD of the Flies ).  Therefore, to use the word/term/title "LORD" as the personal "name" of  Shadday 'EL; is to refer to Him as Ba'aL. This of-course has been and still is the tactic of Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots ( the Roman Catholic Church and her Protestant offspring ) that they may in'doctrin'ate the masses to refer to and call upon the name LORD/Ba'aL , and not YaHuWaH.

And no wonder, for scripture is fulfilled at 2 Thess 2:10-12.

Consider the "Church's" excessive use and insistance of the title LORD (in context with the following scripture*), and its relation to every other place where YaHuWaH's Name is rendered (incorrectly) as "The LORD" in all the "Accepted" Modern Versions.

* The Standard translation/version : "How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets [pastors, preachers] that prophesy [teach] lies?"... Which think to cause my people to forget my name... which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Ba'al." ( Yirmeyahu [Jeremiah] 23:26-27 )

So, since the pastors, preachers (and others) do not regularly use 'El Shadday's true and proper Name [they don't even use it rarely].  It would then be correct to translate the last part of the above verse as : "... their fathers have forgotten My Name for 'The LORD' ."

Scarry isn't it ! Just think of it this way. Since Ba'aL actually means LORD, and vise-versa, LORD refers to Ba'aL; then according to the pastors and preachers willing ignorance, they teach the lie with many, many familiar verses refering rather to Ba'aL/LORD, i.e.: The LORD(Ba'al) Our Righteousness, or Thou shalt not take the name of The LORD(Ba'al) thy God in vain, or, all who call upon the name of The LORD(Ba'al) shall be saved.

Scripture should be properly translated as : "YaHuWaH Our Righteousness", "Thou shalt not take the Name of YaHuWaH thy 'Elohim in vain", and remember that, "all who call upon the name of YaHuWaH shall be saved", etc; etc; etc..

Hallelujah : pronounced Halle - luw - YaH 

 

   It has always been very interesting how many of the Modern Translaters of the scriptures state in many of their prefaces that their version was "Translated out of the 'Original Tongues' with the former translations diligently compared and revised..." and that they are aware of "many inaccurate and inadequate renderings" within their own translations ! One version [without mentioning the inaccuracies] even states that theirs was rendered from the "Original Languages" , yet it is obvious as to the multitudes of mistakes within its translation.

   But when they say  "... former translations diligently compared and revised...",  what they are actually saying is that they compared the variety of renderings and then altered them further within their own 'Revised' Translations.

 

The worst of these inaccuracies is the mistranslation of the Name of the Father.

   The point in question here is that they may say somewhere in their introduction that the name of Almighty Elohim (YHWH) has been translated into the accepted form of "LORD" and then they place the incorrect and blasphemous rendering (Jehovah) within the margin.

Hebrew reads from right to left, so it would be transliterated as : HWHY

Then if turned from the Hebrew right to left, to the English left to right, it becomes : YHWH

   It is quite obvious that there is no way you can get the letters "LORD" from YHWH !

 

   And you can not even get close with the blasphemous rendering "Jehovah" (see explaination within the following main studies).

 

   Furthermore... the mistranslation known as Yahweh does not fit in etymologically with the pronunciation and scripture requirements as you will see right now :

   The people called according to his name ? Yahwehdah...  eh, wrong.

   The Son who came in his Fathers Name ? Yahwehshua...  eh, wrong again.

 

The True, Proper and Correct renderings and pronunciations are ;

   The Father :  YaHuWaH    =    (Yah - hoo - wah)

   The Son     :  YaHuWSHu'A    =    (Yah - hoo - shoo - wah)

    The People :  YaHuWDaH    =    (Yah - hoo - dah)
